Programmatically get the current time remaining and status

The time remaining and status text displayed on the menu bar is really useful to prime myself for breaks. However, I usually hide the menu bar away and use SketchyBar instead for customization and integration with Aerospace. I would really appreciate if LookAway can provide a way to get the remaining time and status such as "stopped" so that a plugin can be written for SketchyBar to show the same info as the menu bar icon.
